Pepper Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1/2 kg
Onions chopped - 1
Garlic cloves crushed - 10
Green Chillies chopped - 2
Pepper powder - 2 tsp
Lemon Juice - 1 tsp
Oil
Turmeric powder - a pinch
Salt
Coriander chopped for garnishing
Method:
- Heat oil in a pan, add the garlic cloves and sauté for 2 mins.
- Add the chopped onions and fry for another 2-3 mins, then add the chopped green chillies, salt and cook for another 2 mins.
- Now add the chicken, turmeric powder and sauté for 5 mins.
- Now cover the pan with a lid and allow the chicken to cook for atleast 10-15 mins.
- Remove the lid and cook for another 5 mins, see to that the liquid on the pan is evaporated completely.
- Now add the pepper powder and lemon juice, combine well and cook for 2 mins.
- Finally garnish with the coriander leaves and remove from fire.
- Hot Pepper chicken is ready to eat.
